Base handle in antique grey finish is one of many design handles supplied by Danish company Furnipart. Inspired by the shape of a classical steel bar, where the holding part is somewhat cut out, a distinct difference between the sides and the front of the handle is created.

The handle fits perfectly on more massive drawers and bigger cupboards, thanks to its length of 172 mm.

The Base handle is moulded in zink alloy, coated in antique grey and then lacquered. The final step of lacquered finish helps to protect the surface and avoid the antique grey coating to oxide.

Steve McGugan is the designer of Base cabinet handle. McGugan has created several handle designs for Furnipart, as well as other product designs for different markets. Interestingly, one of his designed products has even made it up to the ISS space station. Impressive!

Combine Base handle in antique grey with Bell knob with the same coating. Place the handle on the larger kitchen drawers and use Bell for smaller cupboards.

Mounting Handles

Mounting Instructions

Mounting handles and knobs is easy and doesn't require any advanced tools or special skills. Just follow the simple steps below
  1
Prepare and drill the hole
Mark the hole on the cabinet door with a thin pencil. Drill with 4,5 or 5 mm drill from the front side of the cabinet. Any splitter from the exit hole will appear on the back side of the cabinet and not be visible on the front
  2
Mount the handles
Mount the handle with the included M4 screws. Do not use a power drill when attaching the handle. Instead, use a standard manual screw driver and screw the M4 screws as tight as you feel possible. To high torque can damage the knobs or the screw
  3
Inspiration
Tips, if you have many knobs to mount with same position on each cabinet, then it can be worth to make a simple template of a board and some simple wood.
